@Michael the one weird thing is that on an iPhone (ios8 Safari) threads that I have never looked at do not show a New indicator, but once I do look at it, it starts showing the # new posts (when appropriate). On a Mac, it seems fine (showing new for unread threads).

I also second the suggestion to move the posts count to the left, with the views count to the right, if possible.

  • I have the same issue as @sonosaurus also on ios8 safari.

The mark all button seems to be a bit weird too, at least for me. I have to scroll to end of post for it to register, otherwise, it is marked new again upon refreshing or re-opening a page

  • It only shows number of new posts on threads you have previously viewed.

Totally new threads that you have never viewed just show up in Bold headings.

  • Gotcha. I usually either don't start reading a thread or it always has new activity, so I almost never see that grayed out non-bold style at all. I only brought it up because the computer browser behavior was different (and I prefer it to show the New indicator).

  • Hey @Michael - I'm noticing a scattering of posts appear that I haven't read, yet they are n't marked as unread. It's odd, since they can be surrounded by others that are marked as unread.

  • What @Hmtx said^ It's kind of annoying.

  • Ahh...I must of missed his post. Still, I didn't even notice the new threads were in bold. I may have just missed it, but it certainly didn't stand out.

  • You got it: "new" badge added to mobile theme for unread discussions, and post count swapped with view stats.

  • Thank you!

    BLESS YOU FELLA.

  • (I'd very much welcome the swap on wider screen views as well)

  • I'd love to have the "Mark all as viewed" available, even when you're not In specific category. E.g when your at http://forum.audiob.us/ browsing all categories. Pleeeease, AB forumholics needs this. :)

  • Yeah pleeese

It's Markdown, so line break is two returns. I guess I could find a decent WYSIWYG editor...

Hm. My profile pic & notifications are in that circled area. Marked as viewed is under a settings icon menu, and only available when inside a category. Having it like in your pic would be awesome, and would function just like the old forum. Perhaps there's a difference between the iPad and desktop versions though, haven't checked yet

  • Ahh, you're on the iPad - try rotating to landscape.

Haha! Hai there! Ok great. But, if you ever get a chance to try and fit it in portrait, that'd be even more awesome! :)

Edit: Actually, such a minor thing, so never-mind. This works great. Thanks!
