    Ahh, , I see you've found the tutorial that's inside the app, I looked the other day and couldn't find it, the tutorial shows how to get to grips with Zilli, but doesn't encompass everything, fx mix-matrix it doesn't show. The demo's give you a good idea of what you can do, it really takes, well basic ideas, and in ways limited, but I especially like the drone synths, these you can gate and lock the pitch to the sampler keyboard. Automation and fx, is really what makes Zilli tick, along with user interaction. At it's heart it's as simple as a 'Music Box', but using the synths, fx with automation all combined you can produce some quite stunning results Musical? Not always, but stunning non the less, you just have to get over the 'Klingon Battle Cruiser UI'!

    The MIDI setting are straight forward.

    Playing the notes of samples/synths is easy.

    However, what is the route for recording those notes?

    I grabbed this app and for some strange reason I couldn't find how to record sample/synth notes played by MIDI keyboard?

    I press record button up top and play notes. I hear the say..piano sound.

    But the notes are recorded?

    What is the preferences or setting needed to record these notes into a sequence?

    Just bought it but can not even open it. Anyone was able to use it with ios 12.5.5. It keeps quitting after loading screen.

    On 13.5.1 iPad 10.5 , it’s working. 13.5.1 is as recent an update as there is...I think?

    @Littlewoodg @hacked_to_pieces hi bit off topic but are you guys having usb file transfer issues with iOS 13.5.1. I am. Files transfer but when i take my usb stick or hard drive out the ipad & re insert via official Apple Camera Connection Kit my transfered files reduce in size. Happens with all file types with my iphone, ipad pro & iphones. Its crazy .

    Are people still having problems with this app? I’ve had the free version for a long time but have been contemplating getting the paid version as Iove SoundWeaver and had a really great session with the free Zillidrone last night.

    I can’t decide if it’s worth it to buy. Lots of reviews and comments saying it’s abandoned and doesn’t work on latest iOS. The free version seems to though. Weird.

    15.x seems to be a common factor with y’all but i dont get how that could be, the OS last time it was updated was quite a bit before 15

    Maybe another app is messing with it or something in my settings

    Downloaded it to add another data point - iPad Mini 6 iOS 15.3.0 = crash on startup (did get asked for microphone)

    I guess I’ll stick with the free one for now and hope for an update at some point. It’s a fun and unique take on the groovebox so I’d love to see an update. But it’s hard to fault the dev if they don’t want to.
