Someone asked smitematter on twitter if he's allowed to demo some sounds, and basically "why not? It's in review at Apple so" So maybe he'll put up some sounds?

OMG...as a German i can't believe what he said...If this all really works like he said this thing will blow everything away on ios. (also brand new things included which are totally new in synthesizers). Seems this synth also can do something like resynthesis. This synth is from outa space
. I really think about to buy now finally an ipad for such tools. Seems that's another ipad exclusive app

this seems already beyond expectations - so it's probably expecting way to much to hope this works in the AB effects slot as well...
anybody care to hazard a guess as to the pricing on this baby? I'm hoping a special introductory price of $5-10 for the first week or two...

Lots of hype, but what does it SOUND like - there is very little available (that I have seen) that actually lets you hear it!
Pound to a penny it sounds just like the other wavetable apps.
@PaulB: Well, the interface looks straight forward and actually makes sense to me, which is more than I can say for Wave Generator or even Wave Mapper (Which is MUCH better). But I'm willing to bet you are right about the sound being like these other wavetable devices.
However it will sound...it seems it can do things like spectral resynthesis which is new in ios (i think). And it should be the best available thing for sound design (on ios). It can generate wavetables from every audio you put in. For sure it goes a lot deeper than the other wavetable toys. Perhaps this thing can do what i would like for the AlchemyMobile synth...sounds like the big brother!
Just because it has some more features doesn't mean WG or WM are"toys"now...

I like most of my toys (Minimapper, WaveMappers little iPhone brother included). It's just the sound designers dream on ios could be true and it's the first app for which i would buy another ipad (removed my ipad2 after some days of use).
