New Klevgränd app - Røverb out now
I did a little roundup review of the Klevgränd apps, including the new reverb/delay app Røverb. It's a fun app, like all the others.

These are good apps. Love their interfaces also, we use a similar font

Yes, great apps and crossplatforming at it's best. That's the way i like it! More developers should do it this way (i know, i never give up to bother with this
.
Nice apps on both platforms. Any idea what is the performance like on the CPU?
Wow another one? I have the other three. SquashIt is still my favorite, though I thought Svep did a nice modulated, wobbly chorus sound. The interface is simple on these apps, but also kind of different, so there can be a learning/experimentation curve to it if you're used to just booting it up and putting in numerical parameters.
Still, I buy them because they just WORK and don't seem to demand the CPU resources that some other FX apps do. Reverb is a pretty crowded field, though, I was looking at the VirSyn one and several other new ones, and I already have a few of the convolution ones (which are total CPU hogs) and the Fingerlab multi-FX.
Squashit, love it, even when you drive it, it still retains warmth, where other distortion's when pushed disintegrate into a harsh digital, splintered mess of bits and bytes. Lovely on bass.
@StormJH1 I'd rather place this one in the delay/echo category then strictly reverb. It has, up to, 50 separate delays, each with their own range of parameters. With that many delays going on, you can obviously create reverb-type of effects as well though.
Jeepers, controllable stereo on your reverbs! I hadn't really paid attention to these apps until I saw this thread and then checked out their vids. Each of these apps is fantastic with what they can do and how they do it. I have way too many effects apps, but some of these might kick some others off my IPad, while some others are in a class of their own. Thank you @Seangarland for blowing my mind today!
Nice on the Mac too!
Yes! Playing guitar through AudioBus into SquashIt and getting that warm bitcrusher sound (almost like a fuzz pedal, but different) was about the only time I've used an FX app with guitar and thought "now there's a cool, interesting sound that I can't recreate better with "real" guitar hardware!".
@ChrisG - Thanks for the info. I need to research this one further, obviously. But given that it's from Klevgrand and relatively cheap, I'm likely to buy it.
Interestingly, they made SquashIt universal (iPhone & iPad), but I don't believe the other ones have been made universal yet.
All their apps are very special, and this one's no different! It's ingenious how Røverb's visual design makes creating (normal and weird) reverbs intuitive. It's fun to start with just one delay, add to it one-by-one, and stop just before it creates full-on reverb. It's like a flower you keep pulling weird threads out of.
Do they have a bundle type package thing for all their apps? I don't own any but they all look great. Didn't see anything on the app store, but I've never purcahsed an app bundle.
And I promised myself I was going to have an app-free frugal week....
wow.
This is a great app
Unique as far as I know in iOS. The nearest thing in hardware was the
Yamaha AD stomp/magic stomp Allan Holdsworth patches which gave 8 separate delay lines in one
Great idea, well executed and sounds excellent
Hi all! It makes us very happy and excited that you guys seem to like this release (and thanks @Seangarland for reviewing and sharing). If you like it, please(!) rate/review the app on iTunes, it means a lot to us.

Apart from the vocoder effect (which doesn't work at all), DFX works pretty well on my ipad 2. It is a bit glitchy and unpredictable, but creates a different vibe to say, Turnado.
