  • It actually got me thinking that it would be a fun challenge to spend an evening trying to bend it in that direction. so, thank you. :)

    If it was your only option (like buying hardware in the early 90s) and you wanted a groove box, I'm sure you'd get quite a lot out of it. As it is, you'd get way more mileage out of iMPCPro, beatmaker, gadget, NanoStudio, stroke machine...

  • Exactly the box I was thinking of. SP1200 jumps to mind too. People bent the original purposes of those machines to amazing artistic effect. I think it's easier to be motivated do that when its all you have vs <$20 away from dicking around with yet another option. Constraint:art, necessity:invention, all that action.
