Looks very promising indeed, hopefully very user-friendly too and not too 'fiddly' when it comes to editing.
ProMidi showed promise with the features but it's just too 'fiddly' to be user-friendly at least when running on an iPad Mini (everything is so tiny), maybe I just need to get myself a bigger iPad...
This ModStep Sequencer looks very clean and easy to use.
This looks to be significantly different from ProMidi. Will be interesting to see the videos when they become available.
..and here I was thinking the only 2 apps I'll need to get this year are Auria Pro & Loopy Masterpiece - but if this works as well as it's supposed to - this one could be a game changer. Looks great.

is there a way to disable the 'sent from my iPad ' message?
Just to note, they're saying this "Works on any iPad", which is awesome. Alas, if they stick to that it also means, I believe, no AB ever because AB requires iOS7 and the original iPad is stuck on iOS 5.1.
Any idea what it's doing with Samplr in the screenshot? Midi triggering?
If it allows itself to be midi triggered for live use, I'm in. Still looking for something a bit more Ableton-like and this looks like it could be close.

I was disappointed I could not get Genome with the new update - I'm on ios 7.0.2 - need 7.1. But the manual says this works on ios back to 5.1 ?!!? That, and the features explained in the manual have me very excited for this one! It looks similar in features to Genome - perhaps better.

Well, i have no point of reference when it comes to genome, but tell you what - out of the boxmidi cc templates for popular hardware interfaces should be mandatory for all DAWs, I'm a naturally lazy man when it comes to setting these things up but hoopla, there are my volca key controls, ready to ruin a perfectly good sequence!
I'm assuming genome doesn't already have this?
