Drumjam - Any ideas for fill workaround

I just love this app. especially for its acoustic sounds. however I wish there was some way the get in fills after every 4 bars or so?
The live drumpads always do not always work for fills....
Has anyone found a workaround for this succesfully?

It would be nice if DrumJam had an optional muting of the upper regular beat function when you gesture the fill beats in the lower section. That way it would function as a break or fill the way a drummer would do.

I've found the pads to be extremely playable. Perhaps you need to fiddle with the settings so they respond according to your needs. Throw in some of the Pad FX or bedlam and you'll have some serious fills. Oh, and don't forget the volume levels of the pads and loops can be controlled independently.

Another option is to select one or two different loops during the 3rd bar. That way they'll kick in during the 4th bar for your desired effect. Then press the undo button during the 4th bar so the loops revert to the original set beginning on the 5th bar. If you want the same fill every 4th bar just press redo during every 3rd bar, then undo again on the 4th. Otherwise choose some new loops every 3rd bar and just keep using the undo button to get back to the original set of loops. Hope this is understandable.

Nice I will try this ... But was thinking drumjam hardly has any loops which start like a fill..to achieve this...

Maybe add some more instruments or even multiple instances of the same instrument. Then use the undo and redo buttons as mentioned earlier.

There's also the loop filter for some nice variety. Of course running Drumjam through an FX processor like Turnado or Live FX will give you some fantastic results as well. Create the illusion of live fills with delays, loopers, slicers, etc. The options are pretty much endless. Just match tempos and start experimenting!

never thought to redo and undo.. i like this really cool!!
