  • Very interested in trying again now that you've handled micro-fades to the tips. Couldn't get past the popping previously.

Everest seems to be generally following an Echoplex Digital Pro paradigm, which I love. Are you familiar with the EDP and is that your intent? Either way, keep doing that!

  • I'm curious how the "automatic volume fades" on the loop ends have affected the sound on this. Loopy and Sector have implemented micro crossfading that sound pretty good. Same reason that tape splicers had a diagonal cut option back in the century.

Sorry to bump it up again, I guess it's not being used that much, as there are no reviews on the App Store and the videos on the website show the older version which don't demonstrate the fix. He says he's added a fade out at the end and fade in at the start which could actually just be describing a volume dip rather than a crossfade, which would not be cool. I'll have to test it myself I guess, maybe it will go on sale and tempt me to do so eventually.

  • @smeeth: I did not really hear much of a difference in playing with the upated Everest lately, but I also never really cared for those Microfades very much, since I like being surprised and being forced to deal with uncommon sounds... . I know, this doesn't help you much, but thank you for reminding me of reviewing it on the Appstore! Cheers, t
