iGrand Piano & iLectric Piano Updated for IOS 8 & Audiobus!
The update for both of these excellent apps is finally here and it's a pretty big one! Getting these on sale over Christmas is really going to pay off!

Nice! They finally added user presets sort of. It still doesn't show up in the German app store yet.
Hopefully it's not ios8 only.
Looking forward to a (maybe) good reason to re-install.

Saw the post and was happy to have iGrand back in the lineup. Immediately went and deleted the massive CMP (that took forever to install), and raced off to the App Store to download the updated version. Last update: 2013. Son of a....

The iPad versions have been updated, the iPhone version of iGrand Piano shouldn't be too long as it was submitted at the same time as the others.
Huge download updates. Are all the sounds downloaded, then unlocked when you purchase the packages? Or, when you purchase a new package, does it download extra megabytes?
If it's like sampletank and the original igrand and I electric IAP's they are already present and in the downloads.
Why has it taken IK Multimedia sooooooo long to update these two apps? I'm glad they have, but with Korg Module out, anybody who paid for Korg apps, why should they pay for expanded more sounds? iK Multimedia use to be ahead of updating there apps when Apple bought out a new IOS operating system. If IK Multimedia updated iGrand & iElecric piano sooner, it may of taken away the thunder of Korg Module?......... Still it's great that they have.
I knew I should've bought these during the Christmas/New Year sales, but was unsure if IK were working on iOS 8 updates, and my iPad 2 16Gb was full up to the neck! Now I've just got to to wait for the next round of app sales
@studs1966 a very good point. I did re-install both these IK apps yesterday onto an older (4) which has little else on it, and was reminded how good they can sound (very good), but like a player out too long injured they may now find it hard to get back into the first team.....
They're both on my iPad permanently to be used when a real keyboardist is on a session. They sound pretty terrible when I play them...
The latest sound libraries for SampleTank were not this way, they are download on-demand (Miroslav Philharmonik, Sonik Synth are examples of this). These updates for iGrand Piano and electric Piano are built into the app though.
Yes, I meant the stock sounds in the original sampletank, sorry for the confusion. And I have the miroslav addition, it is very good.
iLECTRIC has some mistakes in a few models of the expansion pack 2. In the lower octave the G and Ab have the same sampled note at some velocities on two of the platinum models .
I do love playing my keys with this app though.
