Audiobus 2 and Jamup Pro XT and Tonestack
When I start Audiobus and then try to start Jamup Pro in the "In" it tries to start app but then it disappears.
I am using Ipad Air with IOS 8.1.3. Doing this with my iPhone 6 works fine. This happens also happens with Tonestack.

No such problem here (Air 2), but you could perhaps try launching Jamup Pro first, then Audiobus, then add it to the input slot and see if that helps.
Weird! I don't seem to have that issue with Tonestack but I can't use Jamup Pro XT in the IN slot and get it to make any sound in Cubasis (or Multitrack DAW). Using Jamup Pro in the FX slot and System Audio as Input works fine though!
I've been having trouble with JamUp pro for quite awhile, last night, I decided, for whatever reason to give it another shot, I simply cannot get the Metal tone I need with any other app.
So, this is what I did last night, and I was a bit shocked, but it worked:
.....Started audiobus
..... loaded Jamup into the audiobus "in".
.....started up JamUp from audiobus, got sound.
.....Loaded Auria into audiobus "out". That became the end of hearing the sound from JamUp(but, only for a short bit).
.....I went into settings, and selected Audiobus live monitoring to "on"(which, I might add I've done a few times before in an attempt to get it to work, like 20 or 30 X). Still no sound
.... I switched AB Live Monitoring to off, and then back on, and Low N Behold, there in all its glory was my Thrash Metal tone right out of the 80's!!!
I've been trying to do this for Months, and it finally worked. Recorded my guitar.....Worked well, now what is a bit strange, is that I could not get JamUp to work at all as an IAA fx, nor could I get THM Overloud to work at all either. The levels on the channel set to record showed that it was getting a signal, on both fx. But no sound at all. Which is weird , because that is how I recorded both JamUp and THM just 2 weeks prior????
So I have no idea what in the fu-man chu is going on, but I am in heaven, again that I can record JamUp via audiobus........maybe next week IAA will work again?>>>>>>
