Thanks @Paulinko I think I might be doing something wrong with my QuNexus setup (I'm not sure I understand how to set up CC's with it) as it's got the same control options in iVCS3 and I cant get it to work there either (CC's not the key presses which work fine with the built in keyboard)
I'm hoping to be able to say, control the delay timing increments up and down with the Qunexus. I've tried inputting CC numbers directly into the panel and the midi icon is then displayed over the delay controller so it should be working in theory, but nothing I do on the Qunexus controls the parameter. It's all a bit of a mystery to me but I'm hoping something will click and then it makes sense
@Carnbot here's some photos, the first one is before you send the cc from QuNexus and the other is after you've done so. Using Preset B on the QuNexus.
Thanks for the photos, yes I get to picture 1 which has the rotating icon but I can't get to picture 2 unless I press the notepad icon I manually type in a number. If I press QuNexus keys whilst picture 1 is up nothing happens, is there something different I'm supposed to do with the QuNexus to send a CC?
@Carnbot here's a video on how to change presets on a QuNexus. It sounds like you're in preset A which doesn't send any CC messages (it's also the default preset). You can duplicate my picture by switching to preset B. It's midi learn so you don't have to type in any CC numbers, just press the key to tilt it.
Brilliant, thanks that worked....yes I was in a wrong preset. Preset D works best for me at the moment in Dedalus. I had edited my own preset in the Qunexus editor (on PC) and must have changed preset B to something else as this didn't work either.
So now I can change the controls with the key pressure, its quite twitchy...I need to get another midi controller next with dials and twisty things but Qunexus works for now
@Carnbot Glad you got it going. I think getting the right sensitivity versus CC data output on the QuNexus can be a difficult process for people and involves going into the PC based editor. I've emailed Keith McMillen Instruments about getting an app to change the settings like they have for their K-Board keyboard but they didn't have any plans to do so. Hopefully more people will request such an app so they'll make it.
@Paulinko Yes you're right, I changed the pressure settings when I first got the QuNexus, but I agree an iPad app would be useful as it's a hassle to open up the PC app. I'll send them an email too...
Dedalus Delay, our new iOS App, is a real time audio mangler. A network of delay lines is continually granulated and modulated, producing a labyrinth of echoes, which are further processed by filters, dynamic processors and saturation modules. Dedalus can produce a wide variety of effects, from reverb-like ambiences to evolving resonation, from rhythmic pulsation to chaotic layering, from subtle chorusing to pure noise.
Main Features:
– Audiobus and Inter-App Audio support (sender and FX)
– Multiple delay lines with feedback and granulation
– Signal saturation
– Built In Sampler with varispeed
– Control Manager LFO for Parameters
– Midibus, Virtual Midi and Network: 14 bit NRPN controllers
– File Manager, sharing common audio files via iTunes, Dropbox and AudioCopy
– Snapshots Presets Morphing Pad
– Post Fx Chain: Low-shelf Filter, High-shelf and Compressor
Tech Requirements:
– iOS7 or later
– iPad 2 or later
I don't have Sparkle so I can't compare but my first very brief impressions are that this app can be as serene or noisy as it gets. one cool thing is the snapshots pad where you can morph between four presets on an xy pad. From audio share I "opened in" an audio file, worked great. I've not tested it yet but it receives midi clock so hopefully you can have synced delays. I've barely scratched the surface.

Does this app have IAA midi? Only way to check that I know of is to go into insert IAA effect menu in one of the DAWs and there it will say (Midi) next to the name of the app.
If I try and load it up in Auria there are two options - (instr) and (FX)
Thanks @monzo
No problem it's a nice app actually, and I used it earlier.
some similarity to the Borderlands with real time input effects on!
