Yeah, I hear you on this. I would really enjoy a thicker iPad with more RAM, longer battery life, and a robust glass screen.
It's worth to note that this article is more about stylus using.I was wondering before i've read it since i don't notice any big difference (i don't use a stylus)to my previous iPads.Besides the fact that the glass feels much better (again) than on Mini 2 or Air 1.Touching this devices feels"hollow"and therefore more like plastic and cheap.
Me too, but we're forgetting that Apple's primary target are people with minimalist furniture and not builders with their sausage fingers.
I notice a difference between my iPad Air and ipad3, I prefer the feel of the 3
