Will SunVox ever get on the Bus ?
The burning question remains...
Comments
.
Thanks for the info!
Love that app.
I thought i saw something somewhere in the past few days saying he was working on it....but things have been So crazy lately I can't remember
.
Better question for me: will I ever understand sunvox?
It's not a bad app really and once understood has a ton of flexibility
@syrupcore I hear you on that one with all the apps out there this always goes to the bottom of the list and every time I give it a go i end up turning it off because its so unintuitive (to me at least).
Could do with an in app walk through for thick people like myself.
Funny thing is some of the first music program's I used were trackers on the Amiga.
Maybe one day.....
If I have an app that is a little difficult to get to grips with, I always check if the awesome site Apps4idevices have done one of their visual review/tutorials for it.
Here is their one for Sunvox... http://apps4idevices.com/read/sunvox-v1-7-1.html
Also, there was a post up on another thread here from @AdamStu with a quote from Sunvox developer Night Radio. http://forum.audiob.us/discussion/comment/8370#Comment_8370
I've watched a few YouTube videos on it and there are quite a few for it
Thanks @SpookyZoo
Sunvox is on the bus now:

YESSSS. with virtual MIDI!
Where is it ?
From the vids, this looks crazy-complicated! Is it?
I'm not seeing it either @DaveMagoo.
@Michael_R_Grant - yes, it does have a learning curve, but it is still an interesting app.
Whoa! That's great news!
SunVox feels a bit complicated at first, but with a bit of digging you can find your way and in the end its very intuitive and a breeze to use. It's very deep, and that's what makes it wonderful.
There are tons of tutorials on YouTube to get you going.
I guess It's a balance between laziness and not having enough time to dedicate to it....definitely maybe !
Maybe the update will make it a little easier...def a neat and flexible app once your familiar with it
SunVox with Audiobus and JACK support is waiting for Apple approval. May be it will be released this week.
As for the simpler version of SunVox - yes, i think about it too. Some hybrid of SunVox and PixiTracker would be cool i think
@NightRadio which slots will it support?
@SaveAs Input and Effects
@NightRadio wow! this is amazing! Thanks!
Awesome news that this will support the effects slot, there should be some pretty cool scenarios that this will open up. My experience with Sunvox has been that it is sort of a Frankenstein creator (I mean that in the best way!), in that you can end up stringing together multiple sounds/effects in ways that one might not usually think of. Combining this with Audiobus will magnify this value significantly! Kudos to NightRadio for for continuing the evolution of the product.
And finally, it is released! SunVox for iOS with Audiobus and JACK support!

so awesome!
have any of you guys tried it in fx slot? hows it sound?
It went 'Weeoooweeooo..blip..snark..ftanggg!'
Very good description @PaulB...hahah
It may still be visible in the OUTPUT slot, but please don't use it here I will fix this in the next minor update.
