But seriously, it sounds like the real thing (I don't know the original). I might like a shade more definition (treble?) on the voice, because the voice is good and will only benefit from being shown off all the more so. If I was that bugger from Whiplash I would make you sing it another 1000 times, and then record you. Might add a tiny bit more elasticity to the vocal and I would like 10% more believable anguish (technical term) in there, but these are the quibbles that only come when you have nailed much of the work already.

Thanks so much for the constructive critiques fella's. I agree with all of it. I'm so used to just me and my acoustic git with nothing else going on I thought I try using some of the crazy tools I own. But yeah it mucks it up a bit.
