Hi,
It may just be me but should the following setup create a feedback loop causing a terrible phasing of the final audio stream or should it provide a way to add fx the the final audio stream (of Cubasis)?

I'm guessing, but could it be that you are hearing the output from Cubasis and Final Touch simultaneously? Is that possible? That would certainly give weird phasing effects.
Used to get that with Tonestack. Now I'm getting it with Vinyl.
Maybe Final touch has monitoring enabled and is therefore causing the phasing?

Ipad Air 2 all latest updates to all apps....

Sorry, I can't reproduce this on iOS 8 and iPad Air 2 with apps that are compatible. Might be an issue with Final Touch, but that hasn't been updated to iOS 8 yet.

Yep, I did now. BUT! I've only tested it with a new beta version of Audiobus that I'm testing right now anyway. With that beta version everything went fine. Since you asked about Audio Mastering and specifically about the iPad Air 2 I thought... hey, why not test it with the version of Audiobus that's on the App Store right now and bingo, I was able to reproduce the bug.
So bad news: yep, it's a bug.
Good news: It's already fixed in the current beta version of Audiobus.
Bad news: You don't have access to that beta version of Audiobus.
Good news: we're going to submit it and release it soon (TM).
