I've been waiting for this one!
Working nice in Audiobus but...
Now when you first launch the app (outside AB), the sound comes from the iPad speaker, not the earphone output (with phones plugged in!)
You need to disconnect and reconnect the plug for the sound to come out of the phones again.
Reinstalled, but the problems is still there...
Its a really cool app! A lot of hidden features in the app that makes it more flexible than first thought
What makes this unique compared to other sampling apps? For example, intua beatmaker? Plus, if you cant edit the sample, does it just store huge files that youre unable to export to another app? i see that it has bpm detect so can it sync drum loops and other rhythmic samples?
Just curious as Im always looking for apps such as these but ive got so many, i wanna cut down unless new apps truly have something unique to offer.
thanks in advance
The best way to see what this app is about is to watch a video...it isn't just a sampler and it does have Audiocopy and audiopaste. Here is a
video
downloading this. looking for a good sampler/looper for performance. this looks pretty cool.
Pierre has found the bug and he's fixing it asap.
Loving it. At first i got confused. I expored some wrapped reminder loops from my laptop and play some mintues and i think i wont need the manual at all. Everything is pretty logic and well done. I was thijnking to play live with impc but now i have to take this one in mind. What i love about impc is the huge limitr in the master but PDK has lots of fun in it.
The only somewhat confusing is figuring out how to get to all the extra features where you can change effects and settings. For anyone who doesn't know If your selected on one of the sidebar bottom "tabs" for the diff pages, just tap the same one again and it will take you to diff settings. Once your in there then select the "tabs" on the left and right to change their settings
PDK - yes a cool app with an interesting interface - watch the videos to get the idea!
I'm going to do a video with it soon.
I'm liking this app. A bit of a learning curve on navigation but once you get it figured out it becomes pretty easy to use.
holy crap, where did this app come from?! it's a beat jugglers dream! best thing since samplr in my opinion.
Have any of you guys been able to audiopaste your own samples/loops into PDK? Ive got a bunch of files saved in audioshare which are 16 bit wavs, copying them via Sonoma (as thats what PDK specified) but when i press 3 bar icon on left as specified, am not finding option to paste the samples. Only load patch settings.
Also just tried pasting from Remaster but still not finding it
Gjcyrus, click the icon below the 3 bar icon this will then give option to audiopaste into app you can then select from list. Hope this helped
Hi ukmadstu, I dont know how to paste a pic here so I just uploaded a photo o my avatar. Its not very clear but I'm pointing to the area right below the three bar icon. Theres nothing there. Is this what you were referring to?
Thanks in advance
Below the Triple Line, looks like one box overlapping another, select it then pops up a box askin whether its Sonoma Audiocopy/Audiopaste
Thanks JMSexton, pls see my avatar. Is it supposed to be where my finger is pointing? I just went into audioshare, found a 16 bit wav, tried copying both via general and nothing popped up in PDK. Then tried sonoma copy, still nothing.
On the main screen where you trigger the samples (all the boxes)... Select the 3x3 square grid tab on the bottom, the select the box you want to put your sample in, the on the screen to the left should be 3 lines, and below it, the square boxes (one overlaps the other)...select that
Oh dude, thank you sooo much! Yeah that did the trick!
Sweet! No problem, it does have a bit of a tricky interface but once you get the hang of it it's nice
Protein Der Klang update
Protein Der Klang gets itself nicely up to date in the latest version with the latest Audiobus and AudioCopy together with iOS7 fixes too. MIDI appears to be something in the plan for later.
