Little instagram clip of dedalus and xsynthsizr
I'm really loving dedalus, incredible what it can do to beats and melody, just a 10sec snippet of a jam

lazy off-kilter indeed. Very slinky.
Cheers, I'd love to post a proper video of the track with decent audio but I've got 1gb internet for the next 20days.. The joys of regional Australian internet
But listening to the direct audio from the iPad it is really incredible what dedalus does to the sound, I'm starting to find certain sweet combinations of controls that work really well on certain material
@Buska I hear you. But plenty of upside, right
I take it you are getting your money's worth out of Xynth?
Yeah lovely weather and nice beaches so can't complain haha.
Xynthesizr is the bomb, fantastic little app. Bought that one the first day it was on the App Store, it's grown into a great thing.
One of these days. I keep asking Missus Goodyear if there isn't some business reason for us to get to Oz.
As for Xynth, I shall go back to it. Found myself sequencing in TNR again last night after getting frustrated with the unintuitiveness of B-Step, but couldn't help wonder if along with little pieces from Auxy, I shouldn't be going further with Xynth....
@Buska So, how do you best get around the 32 step limit on Xynth? It's very pretty but I'm missing SPA's song mode etc.
I use it like a live seq, use the chord voicing options on the go, changing the key and changing the pattern as I go. But yeah don't use it for song construction, just for jamming. It would be great if the dev could add a few more pages for the seq, as well as a few more seq's dedicated to midi channels. Would be a lot more usefull.
But I still find it a great live improv seq
@Buska Good. Well, not good. Would be a shedload better to have a song mode, but good that I wasn't just missing something dumb. It is fun to play on the fly that's for sure, but it dawns on me why I haven't been going back to Xynth as much as I might. Need (for me) to start thinking of it as a melody generator. Have to say Thor sounds great rolling through, even at 32 steps. Thanks Mister B.
