Plugins that should be iOS apps (just for fun)

just curious what plugins people wish were iOS apps
I think trash2 and ohmicide would make great ios apps

the logic instruments ultrabeat and sculpture would be awesome aswell

also what are the chances of a plugin/au wrapper for ios ever coming out?

  • If i had a wish..... B2 from 2caudio. So far my favourite piece of software in the multiverse ;)

Dune 2 is awesome too. The U-he stuff also. Of course Omnisphere if it would not need so much RAM and space.... maybe one day.

Sculpture is indeed awesome. The look is ugly as hell and dated but it's such an amazing sound design tool. It is (for me) the most organic sounding synth which uses no samples and i tryed most of the famous physical modelling tools. I can't believe that it's so old.
Delay Designer and Reverb Designer are also ugly but great tools.

  • I'd like to see Native Instruments bring back the Spektral Delay as an iOS app. That thing was wicked.

  • Audio Damage's Phase Two, or any other Mutron Bi-Phase clone.

  • NI Absynth!

  • It's not really a plugin but Delay Designer from Logic Pro. The ability to tweak filter, pitch etc on individual taps is such a nice feature.

  • Ez drummer, jamstix, or GarageBand/logic's drummer.

    Yum.

  • I'd love to see the rest of the Korg Legacy Collection, also a nice spectral synth like Harmor.

  • All the TAL stuff especially TAL-U-NO-LX and NOIzE M4K3R :)

  • TAL-U-NO-LX is wonderful and I'd buy it right now. Another one is Diva, but I guess it would fry the CPU of any iPad now available.

  • Some PC Mac synths and effects out there are open source. Just wondering why more ios dev's haven't taken a stab at converting them? Obxd synth is one that comes to mind.

    Geist by fxpansion

    S-Layer by Twisted Tools

    Parsec / NNXT by propellerhead

  • I'd like the Tres Mono Syth - the FXpansion Reason RE exclusive to be an Auria Pro Plugin. I wonder if that's possible cpu wise.

  • On the flip side, Loopy would be awesome as an AU.

  • i would like plogue's chipspeech on here, or some similar singing-synthesis app. i had nave but it was hard to get the enunciation to be clear.

  • Id love the deep series of fx from kore 2, especially transformations and reconstruction, spl vitalizer, as it's quite subtle but adds that little something especially to drums, soundtoys to do a mini ios bundle and waves to drop enigma, oh how I loved thee.

  • Autotune. (And I mean one that actually works like the desktop plugin in pro tools, not the current toys out there)
