[wishlist] Count-In
As we do not have control about MTDAW (for example) while starting a recording session I would really appreciate a count-in. Any ideas to that?
Comments
As a work around, I just have the first measure of my song in DAW be empty.
empty?
Yes, sure I can set up a song with the first bar clocking 1/4 beats, but as you said, just a workaround.
Yeah. When working w/ an iPad for full-blown music creation, work-arounds are a way of life.
yeah, works fine for the start of a song, but not for punch-in/punch-out type recording (though you can work around that too).
Will be interesting to see if Auria will be able to offer some sort of count-in for AB.
Hey guys - I recommend getting in contact with Hamilton (http://www.harmonicdog.com/), MultiTrack DAW's developer, about this.
other outputs like Loopy doesn´t have a metronome support. Might come more without so it´s worth to think about an implemantation within Audiobus..?
Just to let you know that loopy does have a metronome and you can do accurate synching with apps that support midi clock in like funkbox
MTDAWs punch in out function is pretty useful for getting parts recorded in the right place. You may have to just have a couple of shots to get them synced exactly right.
How about I make a wish-list forum where you can post Audiobus-related wishes on a per-app basis?
good idea @Sebastian

Great idea, thanks, I opened the same thread over there. Sorry for double-posting.
@slick_1975 thanks for the hint. Frankly said, I did not dig very deep into Loopy HD. But I try as soon as my iPad is back from fixing sigh
