  • And what gives with the weird volume changes that sound a bit like sidechaining gone wrong? Makes the app unusable for me, although otherwise I really like it.

Maybe obvious, but have you tried tweaking the master limiter curve/sliders?

  • Yes,

'Bug fixes and improvements' is a tad ambiguous, I'm hoping for future improvements regarding being able to loop sections easier and defining an end section for a track - so it doesn't keep playing indefinitely !

I have to say, I'm less interested in AB support, than if you could create whole tracks in the app and export them to Audioshare (or even Audiocopy)

  • Great news... now updated with AudioCopy. Time to play :)

  • It can be good. it can be perfect.

    But is doesn't want to!

    Shame! Dispointed! Sad!

  • Is this actually any good? Going by FL mobile I'm more than hesitant..

  • The official image line vids make it seem like its for creating pop trance crap

Shame that the audio sucks here but this guy seems to be getting some juicy acid techno from it..

  • @touchconspiracy

Very suitable for you, judging from what I knew about your music.

Just don't expect any potential update further! 3 months waiting for such updates? God, they are in BBQ camp!

  • That vid is crap

The first FL for iOS was basically just (Xewton) Music Studio re-skinned with some FL gfx and sounds (it was made by the Music Studio dev). The new one I believe is made in-house. Have no idea how good/versatile is, but there is a fully fledged synth from what I can see (unlike the OG FL which is completely sample based). I'm still going to hold off tho for the moment being at least, since Gadget released, I find that most other iOS DAWs or grooveboxes collects dust.

  • This is still a sample based rompler

    1. new bug on sequencer note touch panel, no differentiations of 1/2 , 1/4, 1/8 or whole notes, this is a serious bug

    2. bland IAA support, no panel

    3. no midi sync or channel, not to mention no clock implementation

    4. no ios Audiobus support

    5. no Audioshare, just plain vanilla untitled copy paste

Is this 3 months after all masterpiece?

Many tiny details are lacking for users

  • Yes but he was making some good sounds imho

  • Yes FL mobile is xewton with less violins lol

Agree that since gadget, these kind of apps usually pale in comparison

The synths interest me though, not sure if I'll bite

You can just straight type some notes on the lines, you can have good sound from GMM.

From your playing demo, I think you will pretty much like this! Now , there is bug on sequencer, You will get angry if buy it now! I just warned you! No note length differentiations by touch!

  • I sense the Captain has turned his face away....

    Hehe, A chick face!

  • FLStudio Mobile users need to go to their FLStudio Mobile forums and see the cool news coming up for FLStudio Mobile 3. Apparently, Imageline and Xewton have parted ways, and FLStudio Mobile has been completely redesigned and rewritten from the ground up. Lots of description and pictures. It doesn't look anything at all like FLStudio Mobile that we currently know. It looks pretty cool! :-)

  • It is under heavy development and will soon be ready for beta testing. :-)

  • V.3 looks very promising, according to the screenshots

Ya! good on you! But the old users just their newguinea pigs!

Should I say oldguinea swines instead!

  • I can't say I'm over the moon with this update. FL Studio Mobile 3 may well be rather more enticing.

    Pigs from Guinea, indeed !

  • Any one get the IAA to work in GMM? It's only a generator and doesn't seem to work?

Importing audio is still via file sharing on iTunes according to the manual for 1.4 which is crazy nowadays.

no need itunes, just simple copy and paste will do

IAA audio recording to Cubasis, ok! just no sync and no panel, all manual work.

I like the things you say! It makes me smile! I can't predict Image Line!
I was pleasantly surprised to hear about FL Mobile 3! I like and use #2 on my iPhone, to sketch tunes for PC, but I like Minisynth and the new mixing and fx on #2!

  • This is intriguing!

  • I realized now they have so many sytems, synths, platforms to take care. It would be pretty clear what services they can offer and focus on.

I just don't be fooled next time.

The screens look cool, and if they are trying to top the mobile apps they've done so far, that'll be a lot of features

I don't think they mean to fool us, brother. It's partly our own enthusiasm/joy...you can't scam someone who isn't looking for that something-for-nothing, the music! And the devs want us to have that something. They're us after all.
