  • I like it too, but sometimes simple is best.

  • I have purchased the IAP for Chords, but cannot find how to access it. It confirms my purchase, but I cannot find any button or menu item to launch the chording function?

    It's inside the per step window

    @midiSequencer, Wow, you seem very attentive to customer input. This is always the sign of a good product, or soon to be awesome product. I will have to check it out now.

    Tony is awesome, and always humble. I like midisequencer, and the analog concept.

  • I bought it today. And never had the impression there was something wrong with the design, to the contrary, I rather like it.

  • @midisequencer Let me know if you want a VOLUNTEER (gratis) to do an interface update for midiSequencer. I'd love to help. I am a graphic designer BTW.

    @audiblevideo - sure drop me a mail.

  • @audiblevideo I think the guy from Werkbench was begging for portfolios as well and Lawd knows that's an app that (for some of us) makes MS look positively modern etc.

  • For me it's not the design that's a problem with (Analog) Midi Sequencer (I like the fact that it's designed with personal taste), but it's the workflow that's bothering me. It starts with a screen that says 'Launch' (why not launch in the first place?) and then (for instance) I want to set the midi-settings for the synth-app(s) and hardware I want to use and I have to go to 'Options' ( all kind of midi-settings there) and Devices (for midi input and output settings) and then for my midi input I want Recieve midiclock, but I forgot to set MS as slave in Options, so it's Exit and go back to Options, etc.
    Also the loading and saving of ''Banks', Files', 'Snapshots' and 'Sequences' (yes, they are all there!) is super-complicated! I would like just 'Patterns' and 'Songs'in 'Presets' (and some 'Factory-presets' as well!).

    @Harro, it doesn't launch directly because you have to launch before the app to sequence so, if by mistake you dind't, you haven't to close mS completely to step back.

    In the other hand, some people don't know that there are some options to be configured through Adjustment/MidiSequencer in your iPad Adjustments. For example, if you go there, and you enable everything, the app launchs automatically.

    Just tweak everything until you feel confortable.

  • Yes, go to settings to enable jumping straight back to the bank/snapshot you were using last.
    Think of options as 'master settings' to disable all device settings quickly, so if enabled you can then tweak per device (active on/off, latency to add delay, option to send midi clock).

  • Any news about new gui, please?

  • Not everybody struggles with your app I personally like midi sequencer the way it is very simple and easy to use.
