Jamaican Pipe Dream
A chilled-out little something that started out in Korg Gadget and expanded into Cubasis with added guitars and sax.
Comments
Liked it. Especially when it got going past the 1 minute mark. I think the sax has all kinds of possibilities on this but your horn player might need a beer or two first (or perhaps a smoke). He sounded maybe just a little too precise to be Jamaican
Thanks @JohnnyGoodyear
The horn player has been reprimanded and told to go away to mellow out and come back trying Thumbjam instead of a midi keyboard to play his horn (and not quantise it!)...
OK @JohnnyGoodyear, the horn player is back and a new mix is up!
I like that!
@AlterEgo_UK Night and day my friend. Night and day. Very nice inter-leaving of the rhythms. And no question, the sax player can have his job back TJ?
@JohnnyGoodyear: Yes Thumbjam
Kick's in the wrong spot for reggae, so it's messing with the timing of the skank.
Thanks @soladaor78 I knew something wasn't quite right!
New, improved faster acting Jamaican Pipe Dream with enhanced skank now uploaded
It's a cool track, but the beat's still off. Would love to hear it with a one-two-THREE-four.
Thanks for the reggae lesson, @solador78, your wish is my command!
Added some extra drums with Drumjam as well. I am grateful for constructive suggestions and I think it now sounds much better!
Got it. Very nice!
Well done. Sounds like traces of early Japan meets the Police....
Ya mon.
