Amazing...Perfect chance for a Billy Joel - Will Smith live dueto.
Nice update Does seem more rigid midi sync on initial first testing
It also comes with a feature I wanted/requested which is mute after record, useful for when recording via audiobus sidebar from other apps. It seems that it's available as a bluetooth key binding. But a great feature would be a simple Audiobus sidebar toggle mute switch.
Any chance of this? @Michael
No wait, this isn't a joke?? Whoa? So what's new now? What's this sync engine?
i'm particularly happy about being able to adjust decay rate via MIDI
and "long-press" MIDI bindings
Pretty meaty update from the looks of things. Look forward to feedback etc.
Long press binding is pretty neat. One button can control record-mute/unmute and delete. Very concise.
Unfortunately I have problems with live input which gets very glitch. Basically anything that is monitored via loopy sounds distorted. In my case sunrizer and Magellan which I use as a vocal effect. I'm on ios 7 which could be the reason. I wonder if anyone else on 7 experiences this.
I'll test iOS 7 when I can. It may be a few days :-(
The MIDI bindings now have explanations, which is nice. Much needed after seeing so many Loopy forum requests for features that have been there for years.
This is a really great update, the clock seems ever more reliable than ever. I was trying to sync elastic drums clock with Dedalus but it didn't work. As usual Loopy saves the day, it's the only app I can reliably sync with Dedalus BPM sync at the moment.
Another surprise is Loopy now seems to support state saving, it says "saved state for Loopy" when saving a preset
Except it doesn't work when loading the preset back......
But this looks like a bug to be fixed and finally Loopy will have state saving support which will be fantastic!
hope the"spectacular sync"find its way into other apps asap!

Hopefully part of the great iOS midi sync solution. Written by Micheal Tyson (Loopy, Audiobus), it's currently a "work in progress", but since it's code is available free to Devs, tighter midi integration should be just around the corner for everyone!
Has anyone tried as the master clock source in Midiflow?
High expectations for the sync engine, lets hope that it becomes the new standard
