According to appshopper this is the first time it's been free since Nov. '13
thanks. picked it up. great GUI !!
I think they've made it free permanently.
Hope this means they have something else up their sleeve.
I like this hope.
Me too. But my first thought (with perfectly uncreased business hat on) was that they were/are trying to leg-up Take into the mass market. We'll see.
They just updated Reason so that it takes advantage of the online music sharing community allowing users to access and open Figure and Take projects.
Figure.....Looking good in 2018... wow... AUv3... Maybe?

Edit... And Landscape Mode?
Edit Again... And Ableton Link V3...
We can only hope at this stage. My hunch is that they have something on the way, I’ve been raking around these same bins for too long now. My whiskers are twitching..... is that something I can just sense in the warm air of the early evening? ........ could it be the faint smell of non disclosure agreements starting to decay?
Only thing I'd love Figure to have is Files.app support for easier export.
I mean it already does export to 'iTunes' but since it's not Files.app enabled we need to use the computer to fetch the exported .wav files from the iTunes folder...
Been awhile since I've used, but can't you just render out to audiocopy and paste into AudioShare or another app?
That works but it's an extra step that slows things down...
I mean I could for example leave the 'Location' in the Files.app/Document picker in Cubasis or any Files.app enabled app set it to Figure and each time I press 'export to iTunes' in Figure the files would be directly available.
No need to copy to AudioCopy or AudioShare etc. etc.
Love this.
Sweetness.. rediscovering Figure..
Really! I gotta try that one. Thanks.
I need to try that too. Assuming I already bought AudioCopy. I forget. I tend to buy what "Masters of the IOS Universe" tell me to buy.
That's a pretty screen. I rarely think of using Figure in any other way but alone, but not this evening
Here's my cynical opinion - I nabbed Figure when it was free in 2013 and had no idea Propellerhead started charging money for it (although worth it if I would've had to purchase it), but back then, we also never had to be scared of apps turning to the shitty subscription payment model.
It looks like Propellerheads sold Figure to "Allihoopa" to get more users for the service.
How, exactly should I go about doing this please? Can I do this on the iPad or do I need to do it on my PC/mac?? I don’t use Cubasis but I would love to send my Figure stuff to “group the loop”, “blocks wave”, “launchpad” or perhaps “auria”??
