Elastic Drums iPad Universal update is out

Hey there, I guess most people already know, the iPad version of Elastic Drums is out !!

  • the good thing is: it's free for all iPhone version owners! :)
  • the bad thing: it was unusable on iPads with iOS 7 due to changed rotation behavior, but I already sent a bugfix to Apple and they promised an expedite review

    I know this is maybe 'out of scope' for Elastic Drums but it would be super handy to have 'Sample' generator too, meaning ability import own samples from AudioShare. And for performance, big pads for live-playback/recording.

    For the 'Sample-knobs' there could be pitch, filter, playback start offset, length and playback direction for starters :)
    (And for later, maybe a 'mod wave' for warping, ring-mod and other effects).

    I'm still jumping between Elastic Drums and Korg iElectribe for electronic drum sounds :)

    Can you please put a MIDI channel in? Choice or fixed?
    Even if you hard wire it on ch. 10....now it can be used as a sampler, with tweaking enabled, but it plays on all 16 channels, (the sequencer in ED is empty), clock/notes from Genome...man it's great:-)

    I have a request to leave out a feature: swiping preset = scrolling preset, which means it deletes your present work. It's too close to swiping/scrolling patterns and can be hit randomly. The preview in the pull down menu does the job.
    Great app anyway!
