If i have Turnado do i "need" WOW?
What does WOW offer that Turnado can't?
Watched a couple vids on WOW and it doesnt sound like it offers anything more.

Wow only has 3 things: filter, distortion ehm... 2 Things then
it has all sorts of funky tricks such as envelop trigger or bpm trigger so parameters change rhythmically depending on how one sets them. Turnado is a true multi fx unit. 2 quite different beasts. So is effectrix. They quite happily live alongside each other doing their own thing. I really like wow but I'm not liking the resonance that seem to thin the sound when cranked so looses power. The distortion/bit crush and filter combo triggered dynamically works really well though. Turnado is definitely my favourite of all three.

The only problem with Volcano is I want to put it on everything.

As very much a 'fiddle with it and hope' kinda guy, I've had some lovely surprises with Wow. However, when I have a fixed effect or effects in my head for something, Tornado is where I go.
(TBH, for the sort of stuff I do, I'm just addicted to Crystalline!)
Whenever I'm in a Moogerfooger mood and I open-up Filtatron, I always close it and go play with WOW instead.

I have WOW, do I need Turnado?

@pichi If I had WOW (which I do) I would want Turnado. Not exactly left and right foot, but both separately useful.

If they were offering Wow at a 50% discount like the other SB apps then I'd probably buy it, it's still just that little bit too expensive to tempt me.
I've got Turnado, but watching the vids Wow does seem to offer a lot more features and control. Tempting.

I find WOW a bit too "drastic" in filtering FX, it's on the verge of glitch...On the contrary Turnado to me is a Piece of Art in FX, no glitching, (like some), changing patches is clean and is on "default", so no blast of unwanted FX...
Plus all squares can have any combination of FX and extensive automated editing under the hood...
I love WOW. Super easy to dial in great sounds. If you have Auria and buy WOW, it also becomes a plugin, just like Turnado, so there's that.
For me 'Turnado' is more of a Wow!, than 'WOW' is. :-)
Got WOW and i must say im glad i did.
The modulation possibilities is the WOW part.
