iPad case recommendations

My iPad 2's built like a tank so never needed a case, but the new Air 2 seems a bit more delicate. Any recommendations for cases? I don't want just the Apple cover style thing, but would like something that allows me full access to playing the thing, even when it's in the case.

Must look funky too, I'm shallow like that.

Cheers :)

I don't know about the Air 2 , but I rate the smart case (for the Air). However, I've had to cut out a bigger hole for headphones as the original hole apparently was designed for apple earbuds (whatever they are !)

I think this may also apply to the Air 2 smart case. (?)

I'm using griffin tough case knock off from eBay. £5.99. I've dropped it a couple of times but it just bounced back. It might not be your thing looks-wise though.

  • I've been using the Otterbox Defender cases for iPhone and iPads since day 1 and highly recommend them.

Sorry I really don't understand how to make this look bigger

  • I bought this on Amazon UK: ASIN B00ONL1GBY
It’s £9.89 at the moment, and the most significant downside to it is they kept contacting me afterwards to get me to put in a review so I could let people know how good it is. I mean — as if I’m likely to do something like that!

  • Thanks guys - I think I like the Griffin, Otterbox and the one @u0421793 has - that's pretty cheap too.

  • Yeah i've got my eye on one of those Griffin survivor cases, in fact was meaning to ask a similar question. I like the look of the survivor anyway, quite funky. :)

  • iam using a http://www.lifeproof.com/shop/us_en/ipad-air/fre/

the only problem is the lightning cable hole is very very tight for IK MultiMedia iRig HD cable. But it has saved my ipad from coffee spills and a drop.
