iMini - Terra Synth Static Problem
Hello everybody. I've got an audio bus chain that is producing static.
Auxy sequencer - iMini and Terra Synth in Audiobus - audio in Cubasis
I've got an Air 2 with the last version of iOS. (haven't upgraded yet). Also if someone has Auria or a differnt DAW and can get it to work let me know. Thanks for your help.

I don't have the exact same apps to check, but I would be hopeful that updating to iOS 8.3 will fix that particular issue. I previously had loads of Audiobus chains that would crackle and glitch (static?) on my Air 2 and 8.3 has fixed them all, just like that.
Edit: actually, iMini doesn't use Audiobus, does it? I'd still be hopeful that 8.3 can help since you're using an Air 2, but I'm not too sure what your particular setup is that you described.
@Vectoto Thanks for letting me about the improvement with the 8.3 update! I'll do it right away.
As far as the iMini goes it does work. If you try to launch it from Audiobus it doesn't appear on the list. To make it work open iMini from the home page then go to Audiobus where it will now appear on the list.
@vecoto @mkell424 Whenever I get crackles and pops I just assume that I'm asking my iPad 4 (7.2) to deal with too many synths. Depending on the resource requirements of the synths this can happen after I load four, three or even two synths, eg, I can't load any other synth besides iSEM without getting noises.
I updated to 8.3. You were right Vecoto. A big improvement. Everything sounds clearer now but unfortunately there are still a few little crackles.
I've just tried iMini and Micro Tera into Auria via AB, and not getting any sound from iMini, but MT fine. Closed everything and tried iMini in standalone - worked fine. Opened AB, added iMini and still had no sound from it, even using the system audio output.
Looks to me like an iMini issue, unless I'm having random Audiobus problems (again)
I'm glad you noticed a big improvement @mkell424. I wonder whether the remaining crackles could be caused by something else, like levels overloading at some stage in the signal chain?
@monzo About the iMini - I had the same problem with iMini producing no sound. For me it was a MIDI problem. In Auxy instead of selecting iMini from the menu I used the general MIDI out to get sound.
@Vecoto I though it might be the level too. I lowered the levels for iMini in Cubasis but still had the crackles.
I've often found simply turning down the volume on a synth can remove a lot of noise. happened to me yesterday with a simple imini patch into audiobus.
Success! I narrowed down to the iMini. I changed the patch and the other presets sounded OK. For some reason the keyboards preset CD_LfoNes crackles in Audiobus.
