Not showing in my list of recognised apps in audiobus ? Working fine as a standalone.

Comments

  • Try launching iMini first - should show up then.

  • Start iMini before Audiobus.

  • Ok that works .... so whats the scipt ?? audiobus issue or imini issue ?

It is an iMini issue (among others) I expect. I had tried to contact Arturia's technical help regarding other iMini issues and was informed that a future update from the developer (Retronyms) will address everything they know about. This was in February. There is no time frame for when the next update will be ready.

Arturia does not make it easy to get technical help for their apps because you have to enter a product serial number to get help and apps don't have serial numbers. They should fix this. They have a useless web forum for apps with lots of unanswered questions, including the one about needing serial numbers to get tech help.

  • Any issues will be fixed in the next update. It's in line behind some new half working products first. ;-)

To be fair, imini has been behaving for me, no more stuck notes on the few occasions I've used it. Other apps took its place while the stuck note fix was brewing and I haven't felt the need to change. I don't usually have a need to connect it to other apps so perhaps that's why I haven't noticed it.

  • Shame cause it's one of my fave apps.
I'll leave feed back on the AppStore .. Maybe they'll pick up on it there !?

  • I wouldn't hold your breath, search around, this road has been travelled with that company a few times...

  • It still works with Audiobus if you boot iMini first. To be fair a large percentage of my apps seem to have occasional issues with Audiobus since 8.3.

I think an issue with that is that it overrides the latency setting in Audiobus since it's launched first. Better than it not working in Audiobus at all, though.

  • To be honest I never use it, the volume issues and iffy sound quality put me off ages ago.
