do Iphone apps work on iPad?
I know a lot do, ok Im not that dumb. But for example I want to get cassini, and if the the only difference is like graphics then I'd buy the iPhone version and use it on iPad. You dig? Any other quirks with this kind of thing. You know sometimes there are these iPhone apps that are cheaper than iPad and is there any reason audio or midi wise or otherwise to not get the iPhone version.
Oh, for example: like does the iPad cassini cometh with more presets for example.... Thanks

In almost all cases the iPad layout is much easier to use. I can't think of one where the extra 3-6 dollars isn't worth it.
Thanks man that is helpful!
I rock the iPhone version of Animoog on the iPad and thats dope but I can see where other apps would be optimized for iPad. I wonder if there are any exemptions.
Ahh, and magellan jr. is 2$ compared to $5 iPad. So thats the battle so to speak. You folks as cheap as me? haha.
Depends on your eyesight. Sometimes I find the iphone versions easier to read on iPad mini.
And sometimes you have the iPhone versions for free, as Animoog or Arpeggionome. Or miniSynth 2, free right now.
And I think some apps, like Loopseque Mini are different presets (not exactly the same that Loopseque).
Ok, glad in a weird way you all have this conundrum. So in utopia every app would be universal huh. I mean some iPad stuff would be a terrible view on phone but hell it'd still be kinda cool. Try "different drummer app" on iPhone and you would just die with all the parameters. Hails to diff drum app
A very few apps (Guitarism) feel better to me on the iPhone, but DD would need a full redesign, if it were even possible.
