Was MIDI Designer 12 originally one penny shy of $1000?!? Great find.
Yeah I paid a $1000 for that, gutted now.
@Monzo
For real? Lol. I don't know about you mate, but I find the original price is just too steep for an iPad app. I can't think of much PC/Mac music software that costs that much, and usually when music software costs that much or more, it's usually for a bundle rather than something with a single purpose. :P What about MIDI Controller 12 tempted you to part with that much money?
(Sorry to hijack the thread. There are many great deals, and thank you guys at SoundTestRoom for keeping us informed.)
With IOS 8.3 no password is needed to purchase. I accidentally hit buy at 1000!!!!
Credit card denied.
I keep staring at iMini but then I don't have Sunrizer yet.
By the way, I wad just kidding.
No, not for real. It was 999.99 so that no one would buy it but people who had gotten it before (I think it was free) were still able to access it. I'm not sure why it's free again, but I know that's why it was expensive.
@mrufino1, my question is why would a company make an app that expensive to people wouldn't buy it? That's another one I can't wrap my brain around. I know there's a possibly logical explanation.
Don't know what it's like but Djay 2 for iPad is free at the mo https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/djay-2/id669196929?mt=8
Because if they take it off the App Store then anyone who would need to re-download it would not be able to access it anymore. He "discontinued" that version for a while and made a different free one. I am guessing he didn't want an alchemy type situation in one sense, where people could no longer download what they had been using.
It's the way the App Store works, you can't have paid upgrades and you can't have something available without it being on the App Store. So, you find in app purchases for new features in some cases (auria will be doing that) or new versions altogether (beatmaker). New version altogether means anything you bought or used in an earlier version won't transfer to the new app.
That actually makes sense. I'm pretty sure monzo was being facetious.
@jwmmakerofmusic I think it's well accepted at this point in history that if one looks up facetious in almost any modern dictionary there will be a picture of a monzo there....
Wait, are you being... forget it. Too much recursion.
Lol. Fair enough.
