  • I have DJ 1, suddenly they ask you to buy DJ 2, then DJ 1 goes free! This time DJ 2 free, They ask you much more for their FX packs! What a great strategy to divide the olds!

No! this time! I even deleted the DJ 1 and was never touch DJ 1 again! What a bad strategy to lose original customers!

  • Yes, completely agree, I'm not in the DJ world but, you know, different people, different tastes.

  • The truth is they shouldn't letting DJ 2 goes free! It should be free only to the DJ 1 customers with apps bundle! Then asking loyal customers to purchase their fx.

  • Feeling of being dumped is harmful for the old and ex

  • it is a weird to give away an app that sells well for 10 bucks. price strategies on iOS are crazy

  • Free yes, but considerable In App Purchases. Is it worth a punt ?

In fact, I'll check it out when back home to know if it's useful or useless without IAP.

Great! The wolf of Wall street app! Nice movie BTW

  • ??? You've lost me there.

  • It's great even without the IAP's.

  • yep. it has been Apple's app of the year without the IAP

  • I use it whenever I need to play music between sets at gigs, great app. It allows you to stream from spotify as well , very handy.

  • I love DJ 2. I use it for, guess what, DJing.

Lovely with a full spotify account and a good internet connection.

Total no brainer if it's free. Get it!

IAPs really not neccessary, although there are a few nice sugar bytes beat juggling FX ones.

I bought it full price, but I'm not too bothered if they want to give it away.

Anyway, it's a great app. Makes mixing a lot easier.

  • wow, nice. I got the iphone version when it went free. And I see this has two routes into Audiobus! "Pre-cueing" and "master"

  • Thanks for posting this @fjcblanco, it is indeed rather good. Those IAPs sound rather like they are Turnado presets so I don't think I'II need them.

    This

The critiques made in this thread make no sense at all...Spotify integration alone makes this app worth it, and one of the best digital dj platforms, period.

And for the record, the effects IAP is great, but not necessary.

If you own it free, you have no words to complain.

But if you pay DJ 1 for $10, then goes free, then buy DJ 2 for $10, and then goes free again, then you buy the third time for fx pack at another $10!

Then what is next? Gee! For your Crest sake!

I have no idea what you're implying by the first line and your attempt at objectivity.

Second, you're perfectly entitled to your opinions. I don't share them. I paid for DJay 2 when it was on sale. I am happy to have done that but I would have bought it full price. The reason I bought it was the update which included Spotify integration. That alone is worth a $10 price tag to me, and I'm not going to be so greedy as to insult a developer just because they want to get some kind of compensation for effective updates to their work, which is labor in itself.

  • Yep. I'm back at home and after play with it som time, I have to say that the app is completely useful (to me), without IAP.

So, to me, this is not one of such apps becoming free forcing customers buying IAP to make them work.

    No complaint at all.

Fair enough! that is the difference to judge the things! I am implying the lost of purchasing value!

I don't give it a shit how much the sellers want to sell! Be it a million or 10 bucks! Hard works of any is not related! No free lunch! So to you!

  • ...like a river ran through the city....

  • How are the fx? I may consider if this app is stable (which Im pretty sure it is) the bundle. But the fx almost sound cheesy modern, alas maybe are amazing though? Overall fx thoughts? And is the app sick for beat matching?

  • Geese in the valley, geese in the city, geese in your soul …

To be honest,I don't get your rant.Did you not get your value out of this ten bucks? Is it worth nothing to support the developer of an app you obviously like?Does the pricedrop changed anything in your life or the way you use this app?The only valid"complaint"i see is that you begrudge other people because they got it for free now.But what does it say about your character?I snagged it also for free now but i'm not sure if i'll ever use t.I still think DJ player is the best and most flexible DJ app (and rock solid with a fantastic support) :p

    Well written!

If I write again to against your opinion correctly, I am probably looking like a jerk and being characterized again! That might be the case why you begrudged.

So I am sorry if you find me shitty!

    Someone say "peace".

  • ....long past the midnight curfew we sat starry-eyed....

  • theyre trying to help sell many of the dj controllers that are compatible with it. thats their angle
