I always had issues integrating stuff with FL, has it been improved with 12?

I record them into Auria and then use steam export.
I also bought a cable with iPad and stereo audio connections but didn't try it yet.

Fl12 supports dropping several audio sources from windows to playlist. Need to see if possible from iTunes.

  • still no OSX. :(

  • FL Studio is my main DAW. :P I use Cubasis on my iPad to render stems and such. To me, I can use either that or Cubasis, since I do final mixing in FL Studio just the same.

No doesn't look like it will be available to soon, they're still working on the plugins for OSX with various success!

Brilliant DAW, I've created many album projects with it. Much deeper than it initially appears, but FL12 is not working properly for me - I think it's the new graphics things and my rather ancient music computer (:
It's not the end of the world, version 11.1.1 is still really solid for me.

EDIT: working much better now, just updated the graphics card drivers, Doh...

  • i told myself i would drag myself back to desktop when this came out of beta so here i go. wish i had a good ergonomic setup tho.

  • FL's was my first proper DAW on the PC until Reason came along and wiped the floor with it. Seems like an age ago now, but I did some amusing things with it

  • Just downloaded it. It's seems smoother than before. Less buggy. Looking forward to trying out Midimux & thumb jam with it. The only thing I have to get use to, is the VST outlay. It's slightly different to the old way. But, in general, so far so good.

  • I'm trying to figure how to reuse the existing plugins in 11.
They changed some menus position, but overall seems they made lots of efforts to improve the UI.

They also gave gifts per package. The top one got 3 or 4 plugins.

  • BTW I'm willing to pay for audiobus VST which will appear in iOS audiobus.

  • Took me fifteen minutes to figure out how to render to wav, they took out the toolbar button i always used and i was lost, lost.

crashed on me a few times, Korg legacy collection still doesnt want to play nice with FL.

you can actually get the beta mac version for free :) Ive been playing around with their synth harmor and its amazing what you can do with it. youtube seemlessr and harmor and he has some great turorials. ive been using it within ableton on mac with no problems

  • Their minihost modular beta is quite interesting too, in basic form you can use it as an au to vst wrapper, looking forward to osx support, might just use it in win 8 though for now, looks like a great update.
