Moving Audio/tracks/Bins from ipod to ipad
So..... Before I ask the question. I want to say this:
I appreciate this forum. The ability to ask questions, no matter how small or dumb and the wealth of Knowledge here and quick answers is awesome! (Though, no one has been able to learn me midi like I would like to know it yet ) I wanted everyone to know, that even if I don't comment on your shared track, I do listen to all of them. And I appreciate the music creations being shared.
So....I created a song in Multitrack DAW on my ipod. It sounds/sounded ok on it. I love Multitrack, for it's simplicity and ease of use. I just needed to spice it up a bit, and add some proper effects from Auria. This song has 9 tracks. Some of the tracks, like the main guitar are one complete bin, or waveform, without much slicing. The vocals are sliced up pretty good getting rid of my breath sounds and noise.
I initially started out just copying the waveform and pasting it into audioshare, uploading it to dropbox, and then dropboxing it into Auria. Then, I went into the Bin folder thingy in Multitrack, and just, I think from there uploaded the Bins to dropbox, and dropped them into Auria.
There are three options when Importing audio into Auria: Start of Song, Current Timeline Position, Broadcast WAV position. I think I chose BWP. Thinking maybe that would import the wav's into their correct positions on the timeline, like how they were in Multitrack DAW. It didn't. Does the CTP do this? Or is there another way that I can accomplish this? It was and is a pain to try and line up the different wave forms into their correct positions.
Thanks for any help, hope this makes some bit of sense.
