About Garageband

I've got Auria and BM2. How good is GB to build a track with IAA/Audiobus instruments? Will my drums apps (MPC, DM1,SeekBeats...) follow GB? I like the sounds but I want some useful funcionality not just the sounds.Thanks.

Comments

  • I wouldn't bother if you have Auria - GarageBand is good - I used it for a couple of years on everything - but has no mixing or automation. If you want to us the GB instruments then I'd record them in GB and export the stems to Auria.

  • Thanks monzo;)

  • @Ivan_Dj Much as it pains me to do so I must agree with The Monzo who in this case appears to be the epitome of sensible sense (don't be fooled).

  • Agree each other...mmmm Something is going on here hehehe Thanks:)

    It won't last...

  • And @monzo recommended auria. You heard it here! The cult grows by 1 ;-)

  • Nah, too many of us, it aint a cult anymore Mister, it's a religion....

  • Uh oh, don't go there!

  • No worries, that's no more than my meta-post-ironic-modernism-retro-nod. Promise.

  • I’ve been described as a cult. It could have been autocorrect.

It was a bit of a cult at one point tonight, when a loud cracking noise occurred while I was recording a delicate iFretless track, but that could have been iFretless or DFX - they almost reach cult status at times.

If the audio track I recorded is still there when I turn the iPad on in the morning I'll give Auria a cautious thumbs up...

Oh, I was definitely kidding. Perhaps a cult of personality? Sorry, it's 80's hair band night here...
