Dude needs a serious education in virtual midi.

The really annoying thing for me is that Nanostudio won't do virtual midi out, as I've done tons of great stuff on the song editor which I'd love to have controlling animoog and sunrizer, with nanostudio controlling time.

Nanostudio does allow saving a midi file, but because of iOS-ness, it is a pain to get to any other app (the file should be able to be pasted into the clipboard, and other apps like BM2 should allow us to paste it in).

I spent 30 seconds trying to remove a dot of dirt from my screen before I realised it was on HIS iPad! :/

I wonder what he thinks about Nanostudio getting Audiobus?

  • Lol. If anyone ever needed AB.

  • Seriously!!!!...I feel the need to rant and rave, but just Seriously..

  • OK I cant help myself...When anyone records an instrument, whatever it is they may make adjustments to that instrument as they play, as we can do with All the synths. But once its recorded thats it done...What he says makes no sense..If you give one of Rick Wakemans Albums back to him and ask to adjust the parameters on one of his recorded parts he would laugh, and rightly so...

  • @Thesoundtestroom exactly. It's hard to believe he could go on and on like that without realizing how wrong he was. I don't really know what to say. I too want to rant about it.. but I don't know where to begin with this joker. lol

  • ...from the bedroom of his parents house. Just kidding that was terribly mean.

  • @JMSexton @thesoundtestroom Thought about it, decided to yell at him in the comments. lol If you don't like audiobus, fine. But if you are going out right say it sucks and then when you explain why, you are this wrong... yeah... I'm going to feel pretty justified in yelling at you. ;-)

Please don't yell at him. Yelling at people hardly ever changes their. If he's plain wrong (which I don't know, i didn't really watch the video for more than 10 seconds) then just point it out and maybe he'll figure it out on his own.

What bothers me though: He's not German. He's Dutch. Not everyone with a funky accent is German ffs. ;D

Haha us 'Mericans are ignorant! Except @Ryan he's Canadian...Eh!

  • @JMSexton I thought he sounded Russian. lol shrug

@Sebastian I shouldn't have said "yell". It wasn't that bad. But yeah, definitely could have been nicer. I don't feel bad about it given the video title and description. It's insulting.

  • I tried to explain what is Audiobus to this guy, but... no luck :)

  • @SaveAs I saw that.

@Sebastian Can you maybe close this thread? It's not doing anyone any good. :-( Sorry!

  • or change it to Dutch!

I think you guys miss the point and should feel for this guy.

Think of how blessed we are to understand, appreciate and participate in the future of IOS music production that's taking shape right now.

He does not need our slander or our pompous comments, just our prayers.

    Peace....;)

  • I'm going to close this this thread. If you guys see another user who doesn't get what Audiobus does or why, please don't harass them about it. Everybody's entitled to their opinion and those typically aren't changed by harsh words. Thanks a lot in advance! :)
