@Ingenious, iSynPoly is about 4 years old. But it's not the age but the app itself. Nlog Pro and Animoog are excelent examples of that.
BOMBS = creativity
I am tempted for Tera.
It keeps teasing but I can't pull the trigger.
I was going to get it but I remembered Synthmaster is soon.
Kind of like getting new golf clubs to improve one's game................................
Tera I consider one of the top-tier iOS synth apps. IT does take a bit of knowledge about synthesis to get the most outta it.
+1 to both statements
The second statement applies to iPolySynth too, while the presets may seem lackluster to some, there's quite a lot of synthy goodness for the programmers, with automations, x/y tilt, x/y pad and mod wheel modulations.
As a VirSyn nerd I have to mention the others, especially Addictive, (one of the earliest and still formidable iOS top tier synths) and microTera, Tera's crazyass counterpart.
I should clarify to say that iSynPoly has some good features, but I was surprised that it can't be connected to anything MIDI wise (AFAIK), and it doesn't work properly with a Korg Micro Key keyboard either (it only plays one of the mono synth - not the poly one) Of course, there may be someone who knows more about how to interface with this one, than I do.
The MIDI channels are set for the parts. I think you need to use MIDI channel 3 to play the polysynth. If your controller keyboard can't do that, you can use an app like Midiflow to set the routing.
@Vecoto
Thanks for that, yes it does work with Genome sending stuff on channel 3, it's the background audio lack of that confused me.
Oh yes. Running it through Audiobus gets around that issue.
