Galileo and ToneStack Classic Rock Organ Sound for iPad
I had a great time making this classic rock style sound with Galileo and ToneStack, I also talk about the details of the effects chain I set up and why I set it like it is, I hope you enjoy it and find it helpful, but I really hope it inspires you to play with different effect set ups. http://thesoundtestroom.com/galileo-and-tonestack-classic-rock-organ-sound-for-ipad/

Nice - very Keith Emerson!
Exactly, ELP, rick Wakeman, Yes, Deep Purple, etc etc etc
And don't forget Mike Ratledge (from The Soft Machine)!
There are so many great keyboard players still using B3's. Actually just watch some Phish stuff live, brilliant, A B3' A real 12ft Grand, A CS50 or 60 not sure on that, A genuine Clavinet and a Prophet
Oh and Steve Winwood, he did some live shows with Clapton, just awesome
The tone you've got there though is more reminiscent of live Keith Emerson (The Nice, ELP). It's got that slightly gnarled, burned edge to it.
Yes, I was thinking that the sound you got was more Emerson than Lord, although I could hear more Lord with the distortion switched in. Maybe it's the percussion, or just the way you play! I think Jon Lord also used a ring modulator, but I never quite worked out how!
Galileo into GB's IAA guitar amp slot with the relevant pedals is good fun if you're on a budget!
Awesome, thanks for this. More than close enough to the Keith Emerson organ tone I have been looking for!
It's funny, when making the patch I wasn't trying to replicate any particular artist, the ?Jon Lord reference was down to the fact that it was his idea if dising the Leslie that was the inspiration for the video, but after lots of you said it sound like Kieth Emerson I went and listened to some ELP and yeah your right it does, interesting
