Egoist and Time Stretch
How does Egoist alter tempo? My guess it's like Dr Rex playing ReCycle files in Reason. That it is it plays slices so to change tempo it just changes how fast it plays the samples. If so does Egoist do time stretch?
Comments
The pitch seems to be preserved across all tempos, if that's what you mean.
I think you're right @mkell424 when the tempo goes up slices become shorter and shorter a la samplr. I could be wrong though.
You can adjust the depth and size of the slices via % calibration directly under the slices.
Also, full pitch shifting controls are in the middle rows. They seem to be time and pitch sensitive if the original piece is stereo sample of high quality
