@Flo26
Pretty sure you can load all your gear into Ampltube 4 for iPad by following these steps.

Are you sure you don't have iCloud? How are you using an ios device with no iCloud account? Or do you not sync devices? As far as I know it doesn't have to be an iCloud.com or me.com address to be an iCloud account, or does it? I do have one, but I think my wife's was under her gmail address.
Again, I could be wrong, but iCloud is used by apple to sync things like your calendar, contacts, etc.
@Flo26 - I am curious: did it work? Did you manage to get the Hendrix (etcetera) apps into Amplitube 4?
I think you have to log in with something to set the ipad up in the first place, right? It's been a while since I set one up. If you go to your settings and click on iCloud you'll see what account you used. iCloud is supposed to be invisible to the user from what I can tell, rather than being something like Dropbox that is interactive.
By syncing I meant if you had an iPhone then it syncs your info across devices, so anything you add to the calendar on your phone would also show up on ipad without doing anything (and on your Mac if applicable). If you don't have an iPhone or Mac then that would explain why you didn't realize. Anyway, I hope that's a help.
As long as you have registered each of them then all the effects will be available in amplitude 4, but I don't know if they will benefit from the new algorithm.
Edit: what exactly happens if you do 'restore purchases''? And did you now install the apps on your iPad?
Perhaps - like Bianca said - you only have to register them, this is a good suggestion.
Forget the iCloud thing, I don't think it is relevant for this issue. I have added a picture of my Fender registration, it is in menu
Perhaps you first have to make an account to register the apps
I think : after you registered in each app, you have to go to amplitube and do the 'restore purchase' , did you do that?
Did you register all of them to the same existing account? Or make new registrations for each?
@Flo26 - did you register Amplitube itself
Weird...... You are on 8.3?
@Flo26 - some ideas:
idea 1 : Turn ipad completely off and on, try to restore purchase
idea 2 : Make an iCloud account (perhaps that helps, though I can't see the logic)
Edit: how? Go to : Settings. Go to : iCloud
If you were charged for something you already bought I'd definitely let apple know and also ik. I'm sure it will get sorted out.
The purchases are shared through iCloud. You just need to open an iCloud account, and connect your devices to it. There should be a setting in each of your AmpliTube apps. You could also contact IK support. They can be pretty helpful for stuff like this.

@Flo26 - perhaps this helps:
I have made a sort of manual.
To activate Amplitube and the Hendrix (etc) apps in iCloud, do as follows:
Go to :
Settings (the iPad settings of your iPad)
iCloud
Storage
Manage Storage
tap your iPad (directly under Backups)
and then tap Show all apps (bottom of page)
Now you see a list of all your apps. The ones which green switch ON are in iCloud. As you don't care about iCloud i suggest that you turn them all off, but turn all your Amplitube apps to green. They are all in the list.
Now: tap iCloud again (on the left of the screen)
scroll downwards and tap : Backup
tap : Backup Now
Your iPad is now going to upload the 'green' apps to iCloud.
When the upload is done you can do 'restore purchase' within Amplitube (Menu - Store - Restore in-app Purchases ) and perhaps this now works.
Thanks Doug and @Jakersjaw. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled again. Works great now.
Reviving a zombie thread here, but I liked at my older comments in this thread (@ikmultimedia, please read!) and have to say this.
I reinstalled amplitube the other night and bought the ampeg bass amps and the dual microphone option. Holy smokes, this is amazing sounding! As I've been trying to get my iPad going as my amp on gigs, it's been a learning process for sure. I've been discovering all sorts of strengths and weaknesses of each guitar app.
Well, on tonight's gig I will be using amplitube 4. Tonestack has been my go to, but amplitube is really inspiring me this week. The ampegs are a knockout, and the envelope filter is really responsive. I cannot, for the life of me, get any of the positive grid envelope filters to squawk at all (thanks to justin Timberlake for making an envelope filter now a necessity on gigs! I love playing that song), and the tonestack one is just barely enough. And the octave pedal tracks really well.
I hope that the bass section gets a few more selections, especially for a compressor, but I'm loving this right now.
Oh, and the coolest thing? No gap in sound when switching presets, even while running oversampling at ultra low latency on iPad air 1. That's huge for live gigs.
Other coolest thing? I didn't realize that iap's crossed over to iPhone as well, so that's very cool.
Now if I can find an interface that charges an ios device and doesn't introduce noise. Whoever reported the griffin studioconnect to be quiet either had the greatest wiring ever in their house or did not turn up the volume. It was even worse live...and running from a battery made no difference.
I had to go back to tonestack in the middle of our first set, I haven't learned amplitube well enough yet. I have noticed though that the input volume control is disabled, which I think it's not letting me drive it enough.
