Today's new favorite app.....
I got drum studio the other day and fooled around with it a bit and got bored pretty soon. In my typical workflow, I will get a groove going and then start building around that adding instrument parts or vocals depending on the song. Then I get real tired of that groove unless there are some fills and such to break it up. I'm don't like programming a drum machine much and like even less, trying to get a DM synced up using midi. I'd like to be able to make a fill on the fly and the stick it in where I want it. Well I took out "Drum Studio" again today and it is perfect for that kind of thing. You just keep it in the background till you need a fill, then open it up in a 1 or 2 bar loop and play your fill right there in the app till it's right or edit it if needed. And then "audio paste" it right into your auria track exactly where you want it. Maybe you guys have been doing stuff like this all along but I'm slow so I just caught on. Anyway, it's a great little app and looking around in it, it appears that exporting individual tracks might be along sometime in the future as there is a non functioning switch for that in there now. try it out sometime......

Drumjam is great for fills, but pretty ethnic
Totally agree. I've just discovered that. For percussion it's incredible.
It also a good midi clock and lots of other great features.
