Ampkit+ all pedals / amps offered at $19.99 or $29.99 or $39.99 within five minutes

Just in case anybody is interested in buying the Ampkit+ all amps / all pedals package, when I fired up Ampkit+ today it offered them for $29.99. I passed and then looked into the amps. The store was offering $39.99, so I tried to restart the app to get the $29.99 offer but didn't see it.

So I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app. During setup I was again offered $39.99 which I declined. I then restarted the app and was offered $19.99 which I took!

I am not sure why this is acting this way, but $19.99 seemed a pretty good deal. For me an added bonus is that the effects are labeled with the original hardware, so it's a good way for me to explore guitar gear I've never owned.

Comments

  • I see bundle for 19 and all-in bundle for 49

  • Amazing, add $49.99 to the list of offered prices.

I unlocked all amps and effects for $19.99. I just checked the "Add Gear" and there is nothing to buy.

I would think Apple would frown upon offering the same IAP for different prices at the same time.

If you want to buy this, perhaps consider doing what I did and delete / reinstall / decline tutorial IAP offer / hope for $19.99 pop up offer.

  • It just happened to me, didn't even need to re install, just close the app and reopen, first off re was 60% off, declined that, open again with an offer of 80% off which worked out as £14.99' took that one, everything now unlocked and any future gear for free. Strangest offer I've ever seen

  • are we talking about bundle or all-in bundle, please?

  • Just got the all in for 19.99. Pretty sweet deal. Just as soundtestroom said just open close it and reopen.

  • If you get the free Ampkit and purchase the All amps & pedals IAP, do you end up with the equivalent of having purchased Ampkit+ plus the all in bundle?

It offered me the All amps & pedals IAP for £22.99, (an 80% discount) in the free version, which would seem to work out cheaper than buying Ampkit+ and upgrading it, but I'm not certain. Too confusing!

  • Even at 20$ i think everyone is better off buying Bias Fx or mobile pod.

  • If you're still on iOS 7 you can't get bias fx.

  • Their offers defy logic...possibly a few trading standards laws too! I'm not sure which currency conversion rates they're using, but when a "one time" offer at $19.99 equals the same £22.99 it offered it to me at earlier, it makes me decide not to buy.

  • It's too bad that this part of the app is a joke because ampkit runs on my kids old iPod touch running ios6 and they have cool bass amps. But, I won't give them any money because this strikes me as silly. I feel like I'm buying a used car from a slime ball...

  • Yes. This has done it for me. I seem to get a different price every time. It is sad as this was the first amp software I got on the iPad after Guitar rig on my computer. And I liked the earthy sounds as well. But, after revisiting Ampkit Recently, I much prefer the layout of Bias fx now.

  • The Ampkit pop up sale offer has hit a new low at only $9.99 for everything, I have grabbed it having watched it for a looong time.
