I've downloaded the free version (didn't have it before). Nice sounds, and good controls, don't think I want to give them any of my money though, considering how they've treated their existing customers.
I don't think you can give them your money even if you wanted to.
even today he does not work for me! despite the many attempts! maybe it only works for the United States store?
I bought 2 extra IAP packs yesterday, from the UK. Water and the ambient one.
Jolly nice they are too.
I like alchemy because:
you can tailor each patch quite a lot by changing the parameters
you can record in app and then audiocopy samples cut perfectly to bar lengths (so you could throw these straight into Gadget)
I wish you could save the changes you've made to a patch. Or even have favourite patches.
I'm pretty sure both of those things are possible since one of the last versions were released. Aren't favorites the stars on the right side? Select User then create new preset.
It was all a bit of a PR pickle and I am interested to see what our Apple Overlords do with their toy when the dust settles, but still an interesting insight into the psychology of apps; I value this now more than I ever did and agree with Matt on the record/gadgetize thing.
Thanks. Think you are right on stars for favourites.
I'll take a look at user presets. But I thought they were for brand new user patches from user samples - not tweaked factory ones.
I managed to buy one sound pack as well. At first I couldn't then I could then I couldn't again.
@johnnygoodyear we really need to start a petition on the Korg forum for longer gadget sample limits.
you need to have Camel account to try to buy, right?
this is what i got from them:
Hi Alex,
Thanks for your interest but as Camel Audio products are no longer available for purchase, it is not possible to create new accounts.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Well, this morning's just released update (2.3.18) has finally fixed the restore issues for me. Woohoo!!!
