New price drops- animoog, photophore, borderlands...
which one should i get?
Comments
All of them "seriously" but if I really had to choose one then Animoog
What was original price of Animoog?
Animoog was 30$. But you should know at some point it was 10$ and even 5$. So this is not the lowest it's been.
I bought animoog for $1 when it came out
Now thats a good deal
Yeah, it was 69p in the UK, for one day only I think.
Out of the three Borderlands is my favourite, though if you're after a synth Animoog is probably the one to go for.
Yeah, 0,69€ on the first day.....and got it + filtatron for the same price....
All three are great apps, Animoog is probably the heavyweight for me in terms of how much usage I get from each app.
Photophore is great too, one of the few iPad synths which tries to do something different with the touch interface.
Borderlands automation is very cool as well for sample layering....... In fact that's what all three of these apps share, they are all conceived and designed for the ipad interface and not direct clones of desktop instruments.
.....Essential
Animoog is the greatest.
Borderlands is magical.
Photophore is alright, I haven't spent much time with it so can't give an honest opinion.
If you like to try something total new you should go for Borderlands. You can build songs, soundscapes and more.
Thanks everyone. Animoog is long overdue and borderlands is very interesting. Getting both.
I was going to get Animoog because: a) it's great and b) I haven't bought a new synth app since.. yesterday so, you know, it's time )
But after reading this I'm afraid I'm gonna feel robbed
No way man, its worth every penny.. That was the introductory price about 4 years ago.. Go for it
+1 for Borderlands
I got Borderlands and I'm completely blown away. This is real iOS and touch screen music making.
+1 Borderlands
I bought Animoog for IPad for a dollar before I owned the iPad. Took 8 months until I could use it!
Ha ha! I did the same thing! I thought, even if I never get an iPad, this is a good risk to take.
+1000 for Bordelands. This app is fantastic !
I got it on sale , just not that much of a sale but damn it is worth every penny. Definately a fun app and a go to app for laying down some great stuff to inspire further creations.
Just pulled the trigger on borderlands. I'm pissed I waited so long.
Borderlands is indeed all that and a bag of crisps. Looking forward to hearing what you guys make with it
Today's morning session with Borderlands + DFX + Animoog = Serious Meditative Trance State :
Been looking at Photophore but I'm not sure if it will be a novelty I mess around with for a bit then forget.
Photophore is cool but get Borderlands and Animoog AND DFX if you haven't already.
Hmm...DFX..I already have the AUFX Bundle...I saw the demos on their website but it wasn't enough to give me a feel for what the FX are like. Interesting that they updated the MIDI for DFX whilst DM-1 still badly needs an update on it's MIDI implementation.
Sounds like a direct quote from my first wife...
I like this plenty. Was longing for some Nils Frahm on top of it, perhaps next time you could get him to stop by....
Photophore price dropped again...Hmmm....
Borderlands no Inter-App Audio?
Thanks for the listen. Never heard of Nils Frahm before but since I have now, I listened to some of of his tracks it's very inspiring.
It supports IAA.
