Stuck

So, I'm using acoustic percussion with a mic, into audiobus, which is linking loopy and turnado... What I want to do is use loopy to loopy the drum, then manipulate it live, then loop that manipulation... So far I can't seem to achieve this without stopping something or something breaking, or there being a gap somewhere... Is there a way to do this? I have the in app audiobus purchase so I can route multiple apps.. All I've got right now is this sort of thing

Comments

  • It seems to be the only way I can route loopy input to fx then output it to loopy so I can record the manipulation... Am I missing something????

  • It's all very convoluted, and it's putting me off the system... Thinking about just buying the hardware I need... If I can do it with this, if love to though... Let me know if I'm not being specific enough

  • Try mic (system input) as first input slot in AB and record into loopy, Tornado into the second AB line to effect the recorde loop. Ready for a lot of fun. Hope that helps

  • I managed loopy as input, turnado as fx then loopy as output.. You get an overlap but it seems to work once you stop the new recording..sort of...

  • Like that: Audiobus preset '- Mic Jam': http://preset.audiob.us/LDlkMD3O5yuWNik

As soon as the loop repeats its ready to get mangled without stopping.

That's definitely it, Maffew. this should do exactly what you want. You can even use that loop as an FX send. In Loopy, any loop you copy onto that track will go thru Turnado. And yes, this way the output of Turnado will be recorded back into Loopy.
