  • iSem is another synth i spend way too much time with :D

  • Depends on the app.

What apps are you aiming for?

I would say - get 2 and master them.

Thor - always work off existing.

Nave --------- I don't fucking know already. I find difficulty getting what I want out of it. Probably on me. I just can't seem to get the import sounds to come out right out of the gate.

    Z3ta - scratch

Animoog - whatever the mood is. Although, I don't use it anymore.

I am trying to remember which other ones really focus on the patch design?

    Oh Cyclop- scratch

Alchemy - although not true patches - I have a personal design preset library that rivals anything I can find on others. If I knew how, I would share it here.

I am on Synthmaster these days and really diggin it. So patches aren't really a concern.

Frankly, patches are less important to me then making music.

I think if anything I find that getting 2 or 3 primary apps - one for basic synth sounds, Korg's new one, one for bass, one for leads.

    That is my approach.

  • Now there’s an idea — black midi, but with a totally different patch each new note.

    Isn't that a little racist......................

    Or maybe not.

That would insane. You would need a lot of computing power to run a different synth for each out of 100+ notes!
