Tin Pan Rhythm Updated (June 5 2015)

Glad to see this has been updated. Works fine. The dev has added a soft (nice) sine wave which can replace either the piano and/or bass channels. Also added is manual input of tempo. Small beer but vital.

Not as vital as saving your patterns, which we are promised will be in the next update. I believe the dev agrees that this is essential if this app is to get the audience it deserves.

It's a good writer, has the chance to be great.

  • I just got this app and it's great!
I do a pseudo save, when I like a progression , I take screen shot of the chord page, and one of the tracks page if i like the mods i did.
Looking forward to improvements on this app.

  • @steven1 Welcome to backstage at the Forum :) As I (perhaps alone) have noted, this has a real song-writing place, potentially. I like your idea of taking screenshots. I'm a yellow legal pad man myself, but they can't figure out the save aspect soon enough for my considerable liking...

i felt almost like a Real Musician while writing down the chords used in a Tin Pan setup.

  • thanks for the welcome!
The screen shot thing really can't be used on any other app.
Because of the simplicity of TinPan, I can look at my progressions that I screen shotted on another device and easily drag the chords up there.
I'm learning Bass guitar, so this is perfect to jam too.
