iSymphonic, CANTO Sound Pack Pre-Release Demo, A Beutiful Thing

iSymphonic just gets better and better, it's getting to the point now where if you have all the Crudebyte apps you could put together a pretty realist sound score

  • Sorry I forgot to mention, this Canto pack should be available in about two weeks

  • Thank you Sir.... i just wish i could hear it with less reverb. I really don't know what i should think about the sounds. I say... so la la. I find it a bit too expensive for this. Sorry, just my meaning. Your videos are welcome as always.

  • Oh Goody!
I couldn't stop myself on Saturday morning and bought the ARPO pack. Gorgeous and lush.
Great demo, as ever, Doug. Thanks.

  • This app is lovely, fast approaching the jubbly in my wallet. Once the two meet ... Nice demo, I was pleased to also get my first listen to some of the Arpo and Pro Pack sounds. Bonus! Thanks :)

In my recent Arpa demo, I had reverb off for each sound. But overall, to me, listening on YouTube to Dougs video it didn't seem to change the character of the sounds that much really. And iSymphonic actually has a good built-in reverb, if that even matters,

@TozBourne: I listened to that too.... thank you! Yes, it sound is a bit too static, thin and synthetic for my taste. I don't mean it's crap. So some patches sounds very good but it lacks control and articulations for me. I mean for such a small content it's good.... but the developers praised it very high on their side.....Sample Tank (also on iOS) is still better for me. Especially that i can also put together single instruments. I just can judge the demos since i didn't bought it (but was nearly there a few days ago ;) but the reverb sounds a bit harsh and has a mettalic tail for me. I wish i could demo it. Damn.... we need demos in iOS for sure. You really must play an instrument yourself to see if it fits the bill.
However, i much appreciate all the demos since it lacks tutorials and good demos from the developers itself (one of my major bummer in the whole iOS world..... good tutorials and "official" demos sold me a lot stuff but it's not a common thing in iOS). I feel this thing is adding tons of sounds to "earn" money instead of adding some more interesting features for expression. I hope i came not to harsh here since i say what i think (even when it's stupid sometimes ;)

    Cheers
