Vibrant Digital Engineering

Hi. I was wondering if anyone knows how to get in touch with them for support for Diode 108. I went on Google and can't find a web page. Diode 108 only has a FaceBook page with no way to post to ask questions. Thanks for your help!

You mean @diode108? Or Tammie, as we call them.

Sorry you had trouble finding us. How can we help you?

The best way to ask us for help for now is via our support email address [email protected]. When we get an email there, all three of us get a copy in our mailboxes and we answer your question or assign the problem to a support ticket.

You can also find our webpage (besides being at www.vibrantdigitalengineering.com) via www.diode108.com or www.diode-108.com (which currently redirect all to the same place, but may not in the future when we release new products).

You can find the link to our webpage in iTunes, as well...

    https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/diode-108-drum-machine/id969339770?ls=1&mt=8

There you will see links to "Vibrant Digital Engineering, Inc. Web Site" "Diode-108 Drum Machine Support". That's usually the best way to find support for a developer.

    Johnny, that's Tammi, no "e". :-)

Oh, also there's our support webpage, which links to our manual, our MIDI compatibility and usage guide, our video tutorials, and our support email.

(Ah, I see Vecoto covered this already. Man, y'all are FAST.)

FYI @mkell424, they call us "Tammi" because in the heat of product launch I never got around to changing my somewhat random Wordpress avatar from years ago. (I used to change my avatar faces on Twitter, Stackoverflow, Wordpress to hard-to-guess faces.) Then people started looking for my (er, Tammi's) face and claiming I should leave it as is, and I was stuck.

Tammi Terrell died just shy of her 25th birthday (can you believe it). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tammi_Terrell

@Diode Thanks for your reply! I will contact them. I've having problems with exporting songs.

Too bad Tami died so young. It's such a shame when people die with out living full life til they are old. Plus who know how many great songs would have come later. I love the Motown R&B songs from the 60's. Too me that's true R&B. I'm not a fan of the modern style. RIP.

Oh, sorry to hear about the export problems. We definitely want to help you!

  • Thanks Diode. When I export to Cubasis the audio doesn't match the bar makers at the top and f the screen.

Argh. OK. Please send an email telling us all the steps and we will try to reproduce it. Tell us whether you're MIDI syncing or how you are exporting, etc. The more info you give, the easier it will be for us to figure it out.

Again, sorry it's doing frustrating things to your workflow.

Well it's definitely worth the effort to figure it out. It's my favorite drum machine. The sounds are phenomenal and my favorite feature is the ability to add FX, reverb, etc to every note. It was also great when you talked with us and implemented changes in the software based on our feedback. Not many developers do that.:-)
