haQ attaQ 68 – RecoLive MultiCam Recording (Testing)
In this haQ attaQ I'm using an app called RecoLive together with two iPhones and my iPad mini one to record this episode. MultiCam recording rocks!

Super cool. That's neat how it uses WIFI instead of wires. It's amazing what you can do with iPads and iPhones. I envy kids in film and video production school right now.
@mkell424 Yeah I'm envious too, still we can do this right now and that's awesome.
Well it's going to be cool to see what you do with it. Your videos are very creative in addition to being informative. Maybe you should do a sequel to your Sergio Leone epic. :-)
@mkell424 I'm getting nervous that I'm starting to many projects. I would love to do a longer (short) animated movie with actual story and produce all of it including voice over, music and animations on iPad. But it takes too much time.
But I really enjoyed doing the western episode, so I might do at least one more western inspired ep. I'll think about it.
Your videos certainly are coming on a lot in terms of technical capability. You’re absolutely correct in that getting it done first time, live, is where it’s at. My personal mantra is “no post-pro” — it’s too expensive, and also, that’s where infinite twiddling resides. I’m very much into doing it live, now. Even if it’s not required to be live, it just saves a lot of time and money pretending that it is.
Here’s a thing I did the other day, streamed live and direct from my sofa to youtube as it was done.
I’ve got one of these: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/uk/products/atemtelevisionstudio which I could have up to six cameras on. For this sort of stuff, I tend to only use one now, and a couple of computers (for the text and the vid playout on background) (in fact, on that one, the background video is played out on a raspberry pi 2). The graphics are sequenced using the ATEM’s macro feature (which is new, and highly useful).
Behind me, (across the back of the sofa) is a green screen. In front of that is two 135W CFL lights, with diffusing shoot-through brollies, to give a smooth well lit green screen. In front of me, is another 135W CFL light into a reflecting silver brolly. Camera is exposure, white balance and focus set to manual.
Keep up the good work. If you need any advice for chromakey lighting, feel free to ask, lighting and photog is my thing.
@u0421793 Thank you Ian! Regarding Chomakey. I've wanted to put up a green screen but all The Rooms are too small for it. But now i know who to ask about it, thank you!
Btw, I enjoyed yhe video you linked to, especially about "creativity".
Great information as usual @jakoB_haQ thank you!
I wonder if this is the same program Nuck Batt uses on his SonicTalk show?
Great video @u0421973. You presented some very interesting ideas and the video production is top notch. Also your delivery was good. Something tells me someday the BBC will come knocking at your door and ask you to be a guest on one of their shows. ;-)
@jakoB_haQ Dude I can't even imagine what you videos would be like if you had a green screen. It would be far out! ;-)
@TGiG Thank you! I was overjoyed when I discovered RecoLive. Today I was able to record and edit a lets play episode with face cam on no time thanks to it.
